The day after the promotion party we took advantage of being in Waikiki and went to the Honolulu Zoo in Kapiolani Park. The zoo doesn't look like it would be very big from the outside but it was a substantial zoo with pretty good exhibits. This may be damning with faint praise but the zoo didn't inspire immediate feelings of despair on behalf of the animals like in some zoos. Old catwalk at the Kansas City Zoo, I'm talking to you.
